Hi, I'm Russ Friend and  I would like to give you some information about the experience I have in construction. I have run my own framing company for over 13 yrs. I have built homes from 1500 sq. ft. all the way up to 20,000 sq. ft. from prices $100,000.00 up to $5,000,000.00 . I am a Licensed General Contractor (tn.gov) with the state of TN. I also worked as a job field manager for over 5 yrs. I have worked with soil scientist on compaction testing and rebuilding of land, and with structural engineers on items such as oversized footings, retaining walls, steel beams/columns, and wood beams. I have extensive training on the job in water infiltration, waterproofing windows/doors, and flashings. I have dealt with things such as epoxy grout for exterior tile app. and moisture readings for hardwood floor app. I have experience in correct stucco and masonry app. My experience as a framer has helped me in being able to look at a set of drawings to see if what is on paper will work in the field. I also look for things like correct water drainage on the roof so gutters don't become overwhelmed as-well as the drainage of the lot itself. I know the things I have talked about might not seem important to some but I know when I walk away from a project my company, all subcontractors, and most important my owners can go to bed and rest knowing they're taken care of. I am also a certified mold inspector and indoor air quality specialist from Normi ( National Org. of Remediators and Mold Inspectors )services . I am a licensed dealer with EcoQuest Int. which offers the best air purifiers on the market ( same as in the space shuttles ) .

I am also familiar with the difference between building code and state law . For instance when a deck is built by code then all should be ok, right ? Wrong. State law requires a deck has to hold as many people that can fit on it. I also like to be up to date on the latest information about insurances and liability so my company as-well as the owners can have peace of mind. Our mission is to build a close working relationship with our owners during their project and by the end and continuing on in the future having developed a friendship.

Hi, I' m Nick Friend and I would like to tell you about some of my experiences in construction. I lived in East TN for six yrs. owning and operating my own framing company. I built custom log homes as-well as log kits of all sizes. I've constructed projects on the sides of mountains and on the flats of West TN. During the past 18 months I built three custom log homes in Carroll county on lake front lots in Indian Lake Subdivision. In my experiences building not only log homes but big timber and conventional homes as-well I have learned they each hold a uniqe level of complexity and style. I also have completed a number of remodel projects both residential and commercial. My brother and I have worked together for a number of years and have a mutual respect for one another. I am also a certified mold inspector and indoor air quality specialist as-well as a licensed dealer with EcoQuest Int. I am a Licensed General Contractor in residential construction. My brother and I have brought our two companies together to better service our clients and to help each other. Our goal is to be the best we can be at everything we do and to show that Christ comes first in our businesses and our personal lives everyday.

We are Russ and Janna Friend owners of Mainstay Builders LLC. We were married on July 22,2000. We have 2 wonderful children, Brayden and Riley. We have lived in the Knoxville Tn. area for the past 7 yrs. and recently moved back to the Jackson area. My wife and I are not perfect but we try to live each day as Christ would want us to and are continuing to grow into stronger Christians everyday. We carry a great responsability into the work force to be as honest and truthful as we can be not only in business but  in every action taken. Even if we do not construct your project we will help you as honestly as we can.  

We are Nickolas and Ashley Friend owner's of Faith Builders. We have a great love and respect for each other that has formed an everlasting friendship and marriage. Ashley and I have been married since 2002. We have two beautiful daughters, and a handsome son. We are a family based business with the joy of sharing about the Lord and how he has blessed us more than we deserve. We have had our high's and low's as we're sure most families do, but as we continue to do our best to stay grounded in Christ, He is always faithful to pick us up. Our goal in our family and business is to demonstrate respect, honesty, trust, and above all Christ.
