Moisture 

 Moistureplays a big part in building a quality home or not. In TN we sometimes can have high humidity which can greatly affect your home not only under construction but afterwards as-well. An example would be when your about to have hardwood floor installed your air should be running to help dry the home out. The reason for this is because if the floor has to much moisture in it and the hardwood is going to have some in it also it will allow eccesive shrinkage when your home is heated and cooled which means cracks could appear and your floor is more likely to sqeak. Your moisture content of the plywood underlayment and hardwood should neither be above 11%, nor should either moisture reading be farther apart than 4% from each other.
